We Care a Lot about what all of us are eating and drinking – it’s true! Kindred spirits with Carla in this regard, we were giddy at the invitation to serve as guest editors for the beloved annual Food+Drink issue. Truth be told, we get giddy over food (and drinks) pretty much every time we eat, or think about eating. It’s not uncommon to find us with arms overhead, cheering from our dining seats all over Houston, so be sure and check out the current Dishes We’re Obsessing Over and our Fave Food Trucks. Expressing our passion and gratitude for everyone involved in bringing Houston’s best food to the table (including farmers, ranchers and other vendors providing top-quality ingredients and the chefs/operators who choose to use them) inspired us to eat better.
We also love cooking and serving great food at home and hope to motivate you with a Nitty Gritty Guide to shopping for healthier proteins and How to Get Your Garden Fix for sources you might not know about to obtain gorgeous produce.
