Third Coast Hosts James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour in Houston

Culinary stars from around the country will gather at Third Coast Restaurant, 6550 Bertner in the world renowned Texas Medical Center, for one night to prepare a special dinner as part of the James Beard Celebrity Chefs Tour.
On Thursday, October 11, Third Coast Executive Chef Jon Buchanan and his staff will play hosts of a dinner that is bringing culinary talents from coast to coast to benefit the James Beard Foundation. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and passed canapes, followed by a seated, five-course dinner at 7 p.m.
The menu for the evening is as follows:
Frisee, roasted beets, truffled beet puree, grana panna cotta and beet powder

Cacao ~ chocolate cocoa pod, chocolate textures, tejate foam, milk chocolate cloud, chocolate criollo soil, all made with housemade chocolate

Tickets are $175 for James Beard Foundation members and general public; $115 for U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Cardholders; and $135 for U.S. Bank FlexPerks Rewards Cardholders.
