The Great J Adventure: Helping Children & Families
Evelyn Rubenstein JCC of Houston remains committed to uniting our community which was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. The J will host the 29th Annual Children’s Scholarship Ball benefiting the Irvin Kaplan Children’s Scholarship Fund on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel.
The J will continue to provide the support our families need to ensure their children can attend pre school and camp. The Ball was created to ensure that all children from six-week-old infants to teenagers, of all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and with different abilities, can participate in early childhood care, educational activities, special needs programs and J Camps. Each year more than 300 children receive scholarship assistance, children who otherwise may not be able to participate in activities like learning to swim, celebrating a holiday, or making new friends at the J.
The evening will include dinner, dancing and an extensive silent auction. Visit www.erjcchouston.org/csb for more information about how to get involved in this event that benefits so many families and makes a lasting impact on the lives of children in our community.
Sponsorship opportunities, tables and tickets are on sale now. Ball underwriter opportunities start at $50,000. Tables may be purchased at $25,000, $15,000, $10,000, $6,000 and $3,000 levels. Individual tickets are available for $1,000, $600 and $300 each.
