A Night at Market Square: Circo de Luna

The Houston Downtown Management District (Downtown District) announces its Fall 2018 programming lineup at Market Square Park. Season highlights include A Night at Market Square: Circo de Luna, a circus – themed evening festival celebrated throughout the neighborhood; the return of Backyard Jams, a concert series with live music and craft beer from local breweries; and the continuation of Body by Broadway, an exercise class presented by the Downtown District and Theatre Under The Stars. Other park favorites include Movies at Market Square Park and Blanket Bingo.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Food, beer and wine are available for purchase at Niko Niko’s. On -street parking is free after 6 p.m. Visit www.downtownhoustonparking.org for an interactive map with garages, surface lots and other parking options in the area.
Historic Market Square Park comes to life as it transforms into a big top for a circus-themed evening. Featuring Cirque Mythos, event – goers can enjoy performances from aerialists, contortionists, jugglers and fire breathers. The evening wi ll also include a curiosities night market showcasing unique wares from Eliment and The DoBo, as well as specials and pop-up performances at neighborhood venues, restaurants and bars. Saturday, October 13, 6 – 10 p.m.
