The famous concert series “RapCaviar Live”– yes, RapCaviar like your favorite Spotify rap station – will be making an appearance in Houston’s Revention Center tomorrow, December 14. Spotify and Live Nation Urban, in partnership with Samsung Electronics America, Inc., are bringing a unique mission where music and communities come together to support, and tell the stories of the people in Houston.
The station’s favorite rappers like, Gucci Mane, Tory Lanez, Trae tha Truth, Maxo Kream, Trill Sammy, and YBN Nahmir are expected to perform. Houston’s very own, Bun B and DJ Mister Rogers will be keeping the night alive as the evening’s hosts.
Before the show, the kids from the local Boys + Girls Club will get a behind the scenes access VIP experience. Samsung, a national partner of Boys + Girls Club will give two Boys + Girls Club kids a “full Tech Center” makeover.
The show is already “sold-out”, but we have partnered with Spotify, Live Nation Urban and Samsung to give away tickets! Check out our giveaway before it closes tomorrow at noon.
This concert is one of many activities benefiting local Houston communities in the recovery following Hurricane Harvey. Spotify and Live Nation Urban decided to do something BIG for relief efforts in Houston. It all started Monday, when Chamillionaire, in partnership with Communities in School, visited local high schools to inspire students and speak of the opportunities the music industry provides. The Houston Food Bank welcomed hundreds of volunteers thanks to Paul and Crystal Wall, Spotify, Live Nation Urban and Samsung teams. Tuesday, Giving Hub Heroe, Trae the Truth, who was featured in our Heroes Issue this November, along with RELIEFGANG went door to door offering immediate needs for those in our community who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Today, Wednesday December 13th Lecrae invited his fans to work with him on a project for Habitat for Humanity repairing homes for those affected by the Hurricane.
